Across the Illinois-Wisconsin border near the popular Mars Cheese Castle store, is an all-but-abandoned cocktail lounge decorated with large, blue and yellow stars. I love these stars almost as much as I love the cheese curds I get at Mars. They’re kitschy and beautiful. Add some fluffy white clouds and perfect blue sky, and they make excellent subjects for my eager camera.

I finally figured out the chair situation (Go me!), and got my living room put back together. Plus, I only ended up with one extra screw, and no splatters on the floor. (Go me!) I like it. I didn’t think I would.
Now I find myself eyeing my unpainted rooms and wondering about colors. Hmmm…
