Across the Illinois-Wisconsin border near the popular Mars Cheese Castle store, is an all-but-abandoned cocktail lounge decorated with large, blue and yellow stars. I love these stars almost as much as I love the cheese curds I get at Mars. They’re kitschy and beautiful.
