“Good morning! And how is Your Redness?”

“Excuse me?”

“Your Redness, how are you?”

“Are you calling me ‘Your Redness’?”

“Yeahh.”

“Sounds like you were asking after a rash.”

“Oh. Oh! No, no, no!”

“Okay. Please do me a favor and don’t ever, ever, ever open a meeting by calling me ‘Your Redness’. It sounds so wrong.”

“Gotcha.”

The red didn’t go on as well as I’d hoped. Looks like it’ll take three coats to get that steady, deep down red I’m looking for. Next time I’ll put down a tinted primer first. Yep. The kitchen looks great, though.

And what they say about red being a hungry color is true. I was starved by the time I finished the second coat.
