It says Park Ridge on the side, but 1) it’s a low-numbered cab and 2) it’s within Chicago city limits. I’m calling it a legit cab sighting and logging it.
Move, move, move
The Transformers 3 movie isn’t the only action downtown. Oh, no. When I stopped by the Daley Plaza Farmer’s Market hoping to photograph a nice batch of green beans, I instead got sucked into dance performances by After School Matters troupes.
Groups of kids dancing jubilantly in the July heat? Or veggies? Right, it was an easy decision to switch subjects. These kids were intense as they went through their routines, but they obviously had a good time and cheered each other through the performances.
Transformers Set? Nah, just a stroll in Chicago
I forgot the Transformers 3 movie was still filming and inadvertently walked through the “set” on Wacker Drive on my way to dinner last night. It’s a good thing I had my camera. Not much action, but it was neat to see Wacker Drive torn up.
BTW, does anyone else think the Pritzker Pavilion could be an extra for the Transformers movie? I could see it easily assembling into a large cargo vessel of some sort.
