I think it's cool, but maybe I'm easily entertained.

Over the years, Flickr has greeted me with hello in many languages -- Hindi, Spanish, Turkish -- the list goes on and on. But this morning the site greeted me with hello in LOL speak! C'mon, seriously?
People, LOL is not a language it's a meme! And with this move it's obviously a meme that is waaaaaa-ay past its prime. More to found at "i can has cheezeburger".
*shakes head* wtf
CNN is producing t-shirts based on headlines. I have no idea why, but I'm not above using it. An endorsement by CNN has got to be worth something!
Celebrate by having some delicious pecan pie. If you're still in Austin, TX this can be found at the Old Pecan St. Cafe. Yum!
There's been an interesting confluence of net and print fame for me this week. Not always sure how these things happen, but I'm jazzed.
So, it started on Thursday, with a review Phil Vettel published on Crofton on Wells. Happened to be there the evening that the Trib photographer was snapping photos, and my picture (along with my dining companions, B & S) showed up on the front of the dining section (print version only).
The Chicagoist covered the Trib's best photos, and suggested that the one at the top of this blog entry was just as good. I appreciate the shout out (thanks, Chuck!).
And finally, the folks over at Centerstage ran an article about the Chicago Bites podcast. It's really a nice piece, and we're told that it will show up in the print version within the next two weeks (fingers crossed).
