Wikipedia's entry on cupcakes used one of my creative commons licensed photos to support the entry.
My thoughts
I stopped using creative commons in June 2008 because too many people weren't applying the license correctly. It's a lot of work to track down the use of my photography and check that licensing, copyright and attribution are all what I specified. I sometimes regret that decision because of services like Wikipedia that serve a common good. If I could figure a way to donate photos specifically for Wikipedia, then I would do it.
