We’re in Albuquerque, NM but figure it’s not too early to get the votes started about which corner in Winslow, AZ to stand on. This is very important.
Right now, I’m stealing wifi from the Old Town Mall in downtown Albuquerque because, once again, AT&T has failed me in a major metropolitan area.
We’re pushing on to Canyon de Chelly tonight to complete our comission for Ms. B. We hope to hit the Painted Desert tomorrow morning and then be in Winslow by afternoon.

Your poll inspired a song ” Standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona – such a fine sight to see – it’s a girl my lord in a flatbed ford slowing down to take a look at me…” Might be fun to play that song while you’re in town!

We completely planned to do that, but Geo’s charger blew a fuse and our iPods were without kungfu. I sang it in my head though and explained to Pattie what the lyrics were about.
We missed the Painted Desert due to bad directions on the Navaho reservation coming south from Canyon de Chelly. Felt, by that point, we’d seen enough desert – painted or not. We go where the road takes us.
