I took two photos the other night — one without my new Canon Speedlite and the other with. The difference is huge! I’ve been working very hard at improving my low-light photography, but I hope this addition to my arsenal is going to help me take my photos to the next level. What do you think?

The latest art project along Michigan Avenue uses re-purposed refrigerators. I recently had to replace mine, so it’s nice to think it ended up as a work of art. Actually, I wouldn’t mind if my ‘fridge looked like this for real.
I can believe the circus that’s going on around the Blagojevich trial, but it looks like his dream of endless publicity is coming to fruition. At the very least, he’s been immortalized by the state’s taggers.
