I complain about how heavy my camera is and what a pain it is to lug it around everywhere. There are no small purses for me. No stealth SLR.
I complain but I almost always carry a camera.
Because if I didn’t, I wouldn’t be able to capture things like Santas commuting on a Saturday night. The city is a weird and wonderful place that compels me to take a camera everywhere. … Read entire article »

Every year the Chicago Transit Authority has a holiday train that ferries Santa around from station to station. It’s a nice tradition that gives kids and shameless adults (ahem) a chance to see Santa and have their picture taken for free.

Rustik specializes in comfort food and boasts a cozy, Alpine atmosphere. I had a great meal to be sure, but I was equally tickled by the camp-like restroom. The sinks! The green clapboard! Tee-hee!
