Anatomy of a modern job application

| | Comments (0)

Mural at Wolcott & Montrose, originally uploaded by Zesmerelda.

I got the job tip through Twitter,

We chatted over the phone about the position,

I confirmed the interview through email,

We talked about the position face to face,

And then...I got the rejection letter in the mail.

It was a very nice rejection letter, but why would I get worked up about an employment opportunity that moved from Twitter to snail mail? Indeed.
