I did a search on Flickr recently to see how many pictures there were of our organization on the site. Turns out there were over 2500, which is a lot of content not created or vetted by our public information folks!
I argued with myself about bringing this to their attention, but instead decided to use Flickr’s slide show feature at our next meeting. It’s hard to resort to an academic discussion about how or if the organization should react when the results of customer activity are flashing up on the screen.
To be perfectly honest, some of the photography is wonderful. I think we should use it if we can.
