I can blog from Flickr. Any time I want a photo to accompany an entry, I can log into my Flickr account and dash off an entry to post on my personal blog. It drives up traffic to my Flickr account and takes away the hassle of maintaining photo content in two spots. I want a similar convenience for books I read.
So, Amazon, how about it? I want to review more books, but I don’t want to post my stuff on your site. They’re my opinions. I want to put them on my site where I can share them with my readers in my own time. If you embed links back to your site around the book photo as I’m blogging, then it’s win-win. I see no down side.
All of this is by way of saying I’m too lazy to copy the image link for The Black Swan from Amazon to my site, though I’m not too lazy to whine about it.
